About this Cocktail
Orange, Fig and Thyme are the stand out notes in this winter sipper. Original Cocktail by Mike Di Tota
1oz Orange-Infused Rum
1/2oz Sweet Vermouth
3/4oz Spiced Fig-Thyme Syrup
1/2oz Lemon Juice
1 dash Angostura Bitters
2 dashes Cherry-Hazelnut Bitters
Garnish - Grapefruit Twist
Add all ingredients to a mixing can, shake, double strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a Grapefruit Twist.
Orange-Infused Rum: Infuse 1 bottle of white rum with Orange Peels from 1 Orange (remove pith) for 2-3 days.
Spiced Fig- Thyme Syrup: Add 2 Star Anise, 1 Clove , a hand full of Thyme, and 10-15 sliced dried figs to a warm simple syrup. Let steep for an hour. Cool and Strain.
