About this Cocktail

A winter poem, citrus, and a remembrance of summer tell the tale of this cocktail. Original cocktail by Mike Di Tota @SweetAftonBar #brunchcocktails

Ingredients:
  • 1oz Blanco Tequila
  • 1/2oz Aperol
  • 1 1/2oz Tangerine Juice
  • 1/2oz Earl Grey Syrup
  • 1/2oz Lemon Juice
  • 1 dash Aromatic Bitters
  • 2 dashes House Lemon Verbena Bitters
  • Garnish- Tangerine Twist
Preparation:

Add all ingredients to mixing tin. Shake. Double strain into chilled coupe. Garnish with Tangerine Twist.

Earl Grey Syrup- steep Earl Grey Tea bags in warm simple syrup.

House Lemon Verbena Bitters- I use a citrus recipe with High Proof Rum.

    Thanks for sharing Mike! This is a fantastic brunch cocktail. I subbed Bitterman's Hopped Grapefruit bitters for the Lemon Verbena bitters and it was still wonderful.
