2 oz Brugal Anejo Rum
.75 oz Lime
.5 oz Demerara Syrup (2:1)
.25 oz Fernet Branca Menta
Mint leaf (garnish)
Shake. Strain. Coupe. Garnish with mint leaf.
We make our version at The Whistler with 1.25 oz Cockspur Fine Rum and .75 Lemon Hart 151 in place of Brugal. We also add 1 dash of Scrappy's Chocolate Bitters, which gives it a subtle, chocolate-y finish.
