From Joe Raya of The Gin Joint in Charleston, the Tokyo Rose uses the Japanese citrus fruit yuzu to brighten up a cocktail that seems perfectly suited for this time of year when fresh strawberries are abundant.

2 oz Rowans Creek
3/8 oz fresh yuzu juice
3/8 oz fresh lemon juice
3/4 oz muddled fresh strawberry
1/2 oz honey syrup
Shake with a pinch of lavender and serve on the rocks with a lemon twist.
