Virmar Cocktail No. 1

About this Cocktail

The drink is named after Rue Virmar or as it's more commonly known, my house on Virmar street. The proportions are that of a Hanky Panky but with rye, and absinthe in place of Fernet. I also added a few dashes of Peychaud's in honor of Tales.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz. Old Overholt rye
  • 1.5 oz. Dolin sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
  • St. George absinthe rinse
Preparation:

Rinse a rocks glass with a small bit of absinthe. Discard any extra in the glass.
Combine the rest in a beaker, add ice and stir. Serve over fresh rocks with lemon peel garnish

That's beautiful man. Need to sit in a big leather chair while enjoying this one.
