About this Cocktail

A very refreshing twist on another classic cocktail. The use of the El Dorado 12 Year Old Special adds a level of Oak and Spice and I believe the addition of Fresh Grapefruit juice and Cambier take this drink to the next level.

  • 1 1/2 oz. El Dorado 12 Year Old Special Rum
  • 3/4 oz. Cambier
  • 3/4 oz. Simple Syrup
  • 3/4 oz. Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 1/2 oz. Grapefruit Juice
  • Lime Wheel to Garnish

Add the El Dorado Rum, Cambier, Simple Syrup, Lime Juice, and Grapefruit Juice into shaker.

Shake Vigorously and strain into an Old Fashioned glass over fresh ice.

Garnish with a Lime Wheel and serve.

Thank you! It's a very refreshing cocktail for this time of year. The spice and oak of the El Dorado really makes it unique. Make sure not to over do it with the grapefruit. It took a lot of test cocktails to try and determine the best measurements. Just a tad too much grapefruit and the drink becomes overly tart.

    I'm not familiar with Cambier
