About this Cocktail

Dale DeGroff invention. I learned of it first at The Standard, first drank one at Southern Hospitality and made a couple at Cent'Anni to rave reviews.

Ingredients:
  • 2 oz whiskey (Jack by default)
  • 0.5 oz triple sec
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup
  • Splash housemade sour
  • 3 lemon wedges
  • Small handful of mint
Preparation:

In a mixing glass, muddle all but one sprig of mint and 2 of the lemons with the syrup, triple sec and sour. Add whiskey and shake well with ice. Strain into an iced highball glass, garnish with the mint sprig and remaining lemon wedge.
