Whilst in Nashville, I picked up some very delicious Bourbon Smoked Sea Salt by Bourbon Barrel Foods. This salt goes very well in a Maple Old Fashioned!

2 oz Bourbon or Rye
1/2 oz Maple Liqueur
1 *Barspoon Brown Sugar or Demerara Sugar (I'd go with Brown Sugar)
2 dashes of Black Walnut Bitters
Pinch of Bourbon Smoked Sea Salt
Build in Glass:
-Add Sugar, Bitters and Maple Liqueur to glass and stir until sugar is nearly dissolved.
-Then add Bourbon or Rye and stir again.
-Add Cherry, Ice, express Orange Peel and garnish.
-Finally, add a pinch of Salt on top.
*If you find this to be too sweet, reduce the amount of sugar added to drink.
