About this Cocktail

Found this in an Esquire while waiting on a haircut. Went straight home and made one – after getting said hair cut. I used Buffalo Trace bourbon and Cointreau in place of the Grand Marnier and it was superb.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz Evan Williams 2002 single barrel
  • 1 oz Lillet blanc
  • 1/2 oz. Grand Marnier
  • 2 dashes Angostura
Preparation:

Stir over ice and serve with a garnish of lemon peel

Yeah, it's a damn fine one. Seems to follow chores well, but most good drinks do I guess...

Ooh. This is a winner. I used the last of my Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao and added Luxardo maraschino cherry.
