About this Cocktail

Picked up a bottle of Hamilton 151 Demerara Rum and thought this would be the perfect way to debut it. Based on recipe (slight mod used 1 full oz of S&C) from Paul McGee of Lost Lake in Chicago. Great drink and no joke, this will knock you on your ass.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz Flor De Cana 4 yr Gold Rum
  • 1 oz Smith & Cross Rum
  • 1 oz Hamilton 151 Demerara Rum
  • 1 oz Lime Juice
  • 1 oz Grapefruit Juice
  • .5 oz Cinnamon Simple Syrup
  • .5 oz Falernum #9
  • .5 oz Grenadine
  • 1 dash Angostura Bitters
  • 1 dash Absinthe
Preparation:

Shake with ice, then strain into rocks glass or tiki mug over crushed ice.
