About this Cocktail

Jeremy Oertel of Dram Bar in New York delivers this ingenious concoction that happily marries the sweet/tart experience of a rum Tiki drink with the bitterness of Campari. This is my wife's absolute fave; I have to mix it several times a week.

  • 1 1/2 oz Campari
  • 3/4 oz Jamaican rum
  • 1/2 oz orange curaçao
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 3/4 oz orgeat

Shake and strain into a crushed ice-filled rocks glass.

  • Hunter Orahood

Where did you find that glass

My wife picked them up at a vintage shop in NYC. They're shaded purple.

I just have one, and I love it... Many thanks for the recipe. Very surprising.

Made this tonight with Smith and Cross Navy Strength - the funkyness of that rum stands up nicely against the bitterness of the campari. Great drink!

Sitting on our patio enjoying one of these. it’s like a grown up snow cone (oops that may not be a classy enough description) but I love Campari and this hit the spot.
