About this Cocktail

Corpse Reviver No. 2 variant by Samuel Ross - Milk & Honey, NYC. 2008.

  • 1 oz Gin
  • 1 oz St Germain
  • 1 oz Cointreau
  • 1 oz Fresh lemon juice
  • Absinthe
  • Lemon peel

Mix all but absinthe in shaker with cracked ice. Shake vigorously. Rinse chilled coupe with absinthe. Strain shaker into chilled glass.

    Just made this, thinking 1/2oz lemon would bring out the other flavors more? Lemon seems to over power quite a bit.

    It's been awhile since I've had one, but I can imagine a more acidic lemon could overpower... Then again, I prefer St Germain be cut a bit by the tartness. Probably best suited to personal taste.
